Frequently Asked Questions
What type of therapy do you practice?
One thing I’ve learned over the years is that there’s no “one size fits all” in psychotherapy, because every person has their own personality and life experience. I respect that, so I’ve put in a lot of time learning a diverse range of therapeutic approaches. That way, I can tailor my approach to your particular needs. And if I don’t personally practice that type of therapy, at least I’ll know enough to refer you to a qualified colleague.
Here the specific types of therapy I do usually work with:
Individual Therapy:
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
- Eclectic/Integrative Therapy
- Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
